Our Care Pathway
When you get in touch with us our office team will be ready to support you on your journey through this. We will send you a questionnaire to complete and return to us and this will be analysed by one of our surgeons.
If following this questionnaire our surgeons consider that you are likely to benefit from treatment with us we will arrange a zoom appointment for you with a surgeon.
Following the outcome of the zoom if it is felt you should come and see us for a clinical assessment and possible botox we will ask you to complete a headache diary for four continuous weeks and we will arrange a face to face consultation after completion of the headache diary.
When you come to the clinic appointment at the new foscote the surgeon will clinically assess you and administer botox if indicated.
You will need to complete a headache diary for four weeks starting the third week after your botox injection this is so we have a clear record of any improvement in your migraine symptoms. The office will arrange a zoom appointment for approximately eight weeks post Botox. At this zoom appointment your surgeon will discuss with you the options you will have going forward, this may be more botox, surgery or discharge.
The office team will be in regular contact with you to support you on your journey with us.
